Hudsmith Inventory - Pixel RPG Inventory, Equipment & Shop UI Kit

Hudsmith Inventory is a pixel RPG inventory, equipment and shop UI kit by wookdev: 167 sprites, including 40 item icons, in three matching palettes.

• 8 slot styles x 5 states = 40 slot sprites: normal, hover, selected, disabled, new.
• 12 equipment parts: paper doll panel, eight hints, empty and forbidden overlays, set link.
• 8 tooltip/compare block types = 12 sprites, including five rarity headers (white, green, blue, gold, red).
• 6 shop/trade blocks; 4 quantity-control types = 7 sprites, including quick 1/10/MAX buttons and split track + thumb.
• 10 stat rows, ten 8x8 stat glyphs and two directional arrows.
• 4 currency parts; 8 status badges; 40 original 16x16 item icons.
• 16 supporting UI sprites: 2 panels, 8 button state frames, 2 tabs, scroll track and thumb, sort and filter icons.
• 3 palettes: Slate & Gold, Parchment, Pocket Green. All are exact index remaps. Pocket Green uses four shades: keep rarity labels visible.

Formats and data

1002 single RGBA PNGs, 1x and 4x; sheets and atlas JSON in simple and JSON-hash formats; 36 9-slice sprites; nine_slice.json and ui_data.json with grid pitch, tooltip insets, compare anchors and shop column positions. Palette HEX/GPL files, labelled previews and a Lanternbit 10px text-inset table are included.

Engine files

Godot 4 StyleBoxTexture resources, Themes and a small inventory grid scene; a LÖVE helper and inventory/shop example. These files are not tested inside the engines. Unity, GameMaker and Phaser usage notes are also untested. This is an asset kit, without inventory gameplay or persistence.

Free Lite

14 sprites: one slot style in four states, a tooltip box, one shop row and eight item icons. Slate & Gold only, 1x/4x PNGs, matching data and example files.

Pairs with Hudsmith Dialogue

The NPC trade mockup places a merchant conversation beside an Inventory shop list. The dialogue box, name plate and portrait frame are from Hudsmith Dialogue (sold separately). Its sprite files are not included in Inventory. All item names, numbers and scene details are fictional mockup content.

How it was made

The sprites use pixel grids; a generator script exports the PNGs, sheets and data files.

Fonts shown in mockups are Bannerstone, Lanternbit and Pocketpip by wookdev; sold separately and not included. Scene backgrounds and props are for the mockups.
